How’s Your Love Life?

LoveWhat is love? What do we love? Many of us love pizza, chocolate, and our dogs. If you talk to a Wisconsinite, you may hear something about “loving” the Green Bay Packers, brats, and cheese curds. We would also say we love our families, our friends, and, hopefully, the Lord as well. But is our love growing and maturing? Do we love the difficult person in the pew behind us? The needy one? The brash? The rebel? Jesus said, If ye love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15), and along with that challenging test, He shows us the way to live a life of love.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. " Genesis 1:27.  Thus every human being is equall before God and must be equal before us.  They have a right to live as comfortalble as possible.  That need must be met by local churches. not the government.  BFLW will provide educational assitance to local churches, training their members in ministering to the terminallly ill and physcially disabled.  This program is callled LIFT - Loving Individuals in Final Transition,- "Defend the poor and fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and needy, Deliver the poor and needy rid them out of the hand of the wiicked." Psalm 82:3-4.  "But whoso hath this worlds good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of campassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him."

I John 3:17.

Abortions in the State of Wisconsin declined 8.4 percent in 2010 from 2009 according to the Department of Health Services.  However there were 7,825 abortions last year which is still to many. The rate of women agged 15-44 who had an abortion in 2010 was6.8 per 100o which is well belowe  the national rate of 16 per 1000.

However four out of ten babies are born to an unwed mother. There  are many souls that need to be reached withthe glorius goslpel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Abortions are an attack upon our  great God who created all things. There is compet4e forgivenss in our Lorod Jesus Christ if people would only turn to Him.   For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved
Romans 10:13

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.  My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written which in continuance were fashioned when as yet there was none of them. Psalms 139:13-16.

October is "Respect Life Month."  Each life is a unique creation by our Lord Jesus Christ. " For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist ." - Colossians 1:16-17.  Therefore, wouldn't the taking of human life via abortion, infanticide, euthansia or assisted suicide be a personal afront to our Lord Jesus Christ?

I am looking forward to preaching at Cummnity Baptiist Chruch in Silver Lake Wisconsin this coming  Sunday.
