2005 BFLW Rally Address in Madison, WI

On January 22, 1973, former President Lyndon Baines Johnson succumbed to a heart attack, and the news spread around the world. Programs were interrupted to broadcast the news. On that very same day, some activists judges on the United States Supreme Court took the law into their own hands, ignored the fourth Amendment of our Constitution (the inalienable right to life, so eloquently outlined in our Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal), and ushered in abortion on demand, legalizing abortion at any time during the woman's pregnancy, because it was a woman's right to privacy and to choose what she did with her body. Since that infamous decree, over 46 million of your fellow Americans and my fellow Americans have been killed in the abortion mills in our country. This is equivalent to the population of eighteen of our States. 1.5 - 1.6 million innocent little babies are killed each year through the abortion business in our country, which is more that the total number Americans killed in four major wars WWI, WWII, Vietnam and the Civil War.

We all remember September 11, 2001, when 20 alleged terrorist overtook 4 airplanes and killed over 3,000 innocent people. On that very same day, 4,000 innocent babies were killed at the hands of terrorists (abortionists) in abortion mills in our country, and nobody in the news media, that I am aware of, said a word. Some may say that it is extreme to call an abortionist a terrorist, but a terrorist is one who attacks and kills an innocent human being. I ask you, who is more innocent than a baby, born or unborn. If you prefer, call an abortionist a "hitman" — a hitman is one who is paid to kill another human being.

While we are here at this Rally, 180 innocent little babies will be killed at the abortion mills in our country. This means 3 per minute, or 1 every 20 seconds. Proverbs 6:16-17 " These six things doth the LORD hate yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood," So my friends, our Country is filled with the innocent blood of unborn babies.

The Roe vs. Wade ruling opened the gruesome door to legally murder the unborn, and now we abort partially born babies in our country. We are now debating the legality of the ban on Partial Birth Abortion. The Roe vs. Wade ruling has also opened the door to euthanasia, assisted suicide and embryonic stem cell research.

Justice Harry Blackmun wrote in his majority opinion of Roe vs. Wade, that "we simply don't know when life begins."

Committed Bible Believers have always known that life begins at fertilization. Job 31:15 " Did not he that made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb?" Jeremiah 1:5 " Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

Psalm 22: 9-10 "But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly." The Bible clearly and specifically states that human life begins at conception; God is involved in life prior to birth. People are not to be murdered, because they are created in the image of God" Genesis 9:6 "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed for in the image of God made he man." The Bible clearly indicates that God recognizes human beings as persons prior to development in the womb.

Scientific technology has made it obvious that pre-born children are not "Just a blob of tissue." But are babies whose human development begins at fertilization, which marks the beginning of each of us a unique individual.

In 1981, a United States Senate Judiciary Subcommittee invited experts to testify on the question of when life begins. All of the witnesses, except one testified that life at fertilization; one witness said that no one could tell when human life begins.

At conception, every detail of the little human being's development is there, the color of its eyes, the color of its hair and the tone of its skin. At 3 weeks the heart begins to beat, and the foundation of its brain, spinal cord and nervous system are developed.

One month this little human being has grown 10,000 times. 40 days brain waves can be detected. 8 weeks this little one is one inch long and all of its body is formed, and all is necessary for this human being to be developed into a fully developed adult. He sucks his thumb, responds and grasps objects as his hand is touched. It has fingerprints.

The Baby Feet Pin, the Precious Feet pin, which is they symbol of the Pro-Life movement, is the exact size of a baby's feet 10 weeks after conception. You can see the detail of the little toes; the arch and the little heel.

At 12 weeks this little human being exercises, turns its head, curls its toes, opens and closes its mouth, and in a week hair begins to grow. What will this little one be? Will the mother choose herself over her little baby, and this little one becomes another statistic at an abortion mill in our country.

Abortion was to help reduce child abuse in our country, but the fact of the matter is that child abuse has increased between 600% to 700% since Roe vs. Wade in January of 1973. What do you expect? If it is all right to kill a baby in the womb, why isn't it OK to kill a baby out of the womb if that little one is a disturbance, or upsets one's lifestyle or schedule? 97-98% of all abortions are done because of convenience. Dr. Philip Ney, in the Journal of Psychiatry states, "elective abortion is an important cause of child abuse."

Planned Parenthood and the abortionists do not tell women the truth about abortion. That the chances of breast cancer may increase by over 50% after a woman has had an abortion. That mental health care needs my increase by as much as 65% for a woman who has had an abortion. These women often experience depression, denial, guilt, bad dreams, nightmares, flashbacks, remorse, regret, low self esteem, loss of tenderness and empathy to others, sexual coldness, many resort to alcohol and drug abuse to kill the emotional pain that are suffering, some become suicidal, will withdraw from people and often from God himself.

Yet our Governor, James Doyle, has said if given the opportunity he would repeal the Wisconsin law requiring doctors to provide specific oral and written information about the risks and alternatives to the abortion." Why doesn't our Governor want women to know the truth about a medical procedure? (Wisconsin State Journal, November 3, 2002).

We must stand up and tell people the truth about abortion, that abortion is the killing of a human being. That abortion is murder, which kills children, and that abortion harms the mother. We must tell people the truth and pray that God will open their eyes, and the people will do what is right in the sight of God.

Some good news: This past Tuesday — January 18, 2005, Norma McCorvey (the original "Jane Doe" of Roe vs. Wade) filed a legal appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court to have Roe vs. Wade reversed.

Survey by NARAL (leading abortion advocacy group) indicates that States are passing prolife laws at an increasing rate and that nineteen states would quickly ban abortions if Roe vs. Wade is overturned.

President Bush has declared Sunday January 23, 2005 as Pro-Life Sunday to celebrate life and mourn those unborn children who have been killed via abortion.

The abortion issue has opened the door wide open for embryonic stem cell research. In order for embryonic stem cells to be used, the embryo, or human being, must be destroyed. Thus far, there have been NO diseases, which have been cured from embryonic stems cells, while over 45 diseases have been cured from adult stem cells.

Scientists tell us that embryonic stem cells will not provide a cure for Alzheimer's and have been detrimental in trying to cure Parkinson's.

The Word of God clearly states that human beings are created in the image of God, which is why murder is a moral violation. Genesis 1:27 " So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

We must stand against abortion, and embryonic stem cells research, which involves the killing of a life that is sacred. Killing of embryos is intentional and premeditated. Embryonic stem cell research is murder just like abortions is, they are bother-premeditated murder.

Romans 3:8 "Let us do evil, that good may come whose damnation is just." We MUST not do evil that good my come. We must make our case known and stand for truth. What brought us to this predicament that we are in our country?

J. Thomas Malthus, 19th century cleric and professor of Political Economy, believed that if Western Civilization were to survive, the physically unfit, and materially poor, the spiritual diseased, the racially inferior and the mentally incompetent had to somehow be suppressed and isolated or perhaps even eliminated, and the more practical way to do this was through education, contraception, sterilization, and abortions. (Grand Delusion, George Grant, p. 50).

Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, grasped these ideas, and stated that the FIT should be encouraged to produce prolifically, and the unfit should be slowly winnowed out of the population as chaff is from wheat through segregation, sterilization, birth control and abortion. This very same principle was followed in Hitler's Germany, as he slaughtered more that 6 million Jews, 2 million Slavs, and a million Poles.

What has happened to our country in that we live in a culture of death? Where we allow babies to be killed, allow a person to help another person who is terminally ill or has some debilitating decease to commit suicide?

First of all, I am a flag waving American. I love my country. My father came to America from Russia in the early 1900's, and I thank God that I was born in America and not the Soviet Union. I am proud to have served in the military for my country, and my wife and I are proud to have a son and his wife who are both currently serving in the U. S. Air Force. We live in the greatest nation on earth. God has blessed our Nation in a marvelous way. People come to America from all over the world for medical training and treatment. I have not heard of people going to Iraq, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, England, China, France or Germany for medical treatment or training. People come to America. Rome in all her splendor and glory and power could never begin to compare to the United States of America. At one time the sun never set on the British Empire, yet Britain in all her power and majesty never compared to America. Now we find ourselves battling against those who would like to destroy our great country. They desire to destroy her from within, by getting rid of our Judeo-Christian values.

We have voted God out of our Government Schools. But I want to assure you, God is still there. He is omnipresent. He is NOT outside standing on the sidewalk looking in. God is there. Kids are still praying, reading their Bible and witnessing in the Government Schools.

We now find ourselves in a position that our founding Fathers feared. We are now a government without restraints. Every body does that which is right in their own eyes. People throw out restraints and find themselves in bondage, in bondage of violence, hared, guilt, anger, depression and etc. What happened? — In the early 1900's Satanic atheistic evolution began to be taught in our Government Schools and taught there as fact. Preachers began to deny the faith and departed from Devine creation, some substituting this for an ungodly theistic evolution.

Today, the Bible — the Word of God is no longer our only rule for faith and practice. We do what is right in our own eyes. Just as the Children of Israel as recorded in Judges 17:6 " but every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Luke 19:14 "We will not have this man to reign over us."

The Bible is thrown out and we who love the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Word of God are called radical extremists and troublemakers.

Folks, we must continue to stand upon the Word of God in a loving, compassionate and caring way. Abortion is murder because God says so, and we must wake up and stand for truth. We must continue on in the battle for truth and righteousness. Life is sacred.

Galatians 6:9And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not." 2 Cor. 4:11 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy we faint not;

2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully but by manifestation of the truth commending us to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
