"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matt. 28:18-20)."But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).

The Word of God has challenged each of us to be involved in missions. We send missionaries from our home churches to all parts of the globe, including the jungles, third-world countries, and hostile areas. Pastors urge parents to give their children to the Lord and to full-time service, including the mission field, for the Glory of God and to pray for missionaries at home and abroad.

God has provided an open door before us— "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries." (1 Cor. 16:9)—which we MUST enter for His Glory. We sing "I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord" or "Where He leads me I will follow." But many do not become involved as counselors or workers in one of the four centers listed on the back of this newsletter. The women come to the center because they have a need, but not realizing their greatest need is a Savior. There are many like the people in Acts 16:9 who said: "...Come over into Macedonia, and help us." We have the most wonderful and powerful message to give them, a message of hope and comfort in the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 6:7-8).

Jesus in John 4:35-39 challenges us with a very urgent task. He said to "look unto the fields." He focused on the people where He was and on a worldwide outreach (Matthew 18:18-20, Acts 1:8).

Our pregnancy care centers need help. The pro-life movement and Baptists for Life of Wisconsin need your help. Ask God how you can be involved. The Lord will honor your one day a month at a center serving in some way. Men can offer to counsel men who may come in; you can clean, do repair work, or transport items to a center. Young people can organize a BIKE FOR LIFE, a CAR WASH FOR LIFE, or a WALK FOR LIFE with the proceeds going to BAPTISTS FOR LIFE OF WISCONSIN. Younger children could have a JUMP ROPE FOR LIFE.

Everyone can pray for a counselor by name, for clients to be open to the gospel. BFLW needs funds as we consider opening another pregnancy care center in a different area of Wisconsin. Yes, we must be involved in foreign missions, but there is a great open door to enter through pregnancy care centers. There were eighty-eight professions of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in 2006 through the ministry of our pregnancy care centers. These are souls that may not have been reached for Christ in any other way.
